quick bar blue
sonar x3 boxThe folks over at Cakewalk have been busy fine tuning there latest DAW Sonar X3. Cakewalk has made leaps and bounds with their recording software. In my opinion, Sonar is one of the easiest production tools to use. Their VSTi system continues to work seamlessly with a whole variety of plugins. The new Sonar X3 Producer addition comes stocked with new instruments like Addictive Drums, “Lounge Lizard Session” a high end roads instrument, and even more cool tools like Nomad Factory Blue Tubes FX” classic analog for your digital studio, and “Tape Emulator”which gives a nice touch of analog sound to your mixes. In addition, they’ve made a ton of workflow enhancements. The price drop really caught my attention. There giving it away for under $500 including all the VSTi tools. The upgrade is only $150. This is a steal in my opinion! This release seams quite promising and I’ll definitely keep my eye out for it.
Check out the video and the cool new tools.

I use Studio 11 and I think it’s the most powerful software package available today. It has the features I need and the price was very reasonable.
